Lifetime Warranty

Modern Home Products (MHP) offers a lifetime warranty on the top and bottom castings, control panel, stainless steel shelf brackets, in-ground/patio base post, stainless steel and sear magic cooking grids and stainless steel burners. The porcelain briquettes and infrared burners are warrantied against defects for a period of five (5) years and all other components including ignition system, valves, Nu-Stone side shelves, control knobs, patio base and rock grates are warrantied against defects for a period of one (1) year. All paint is warrantied for thirty (30) days. MHP also offers a one (1) year warranty on all parts if installed in a commercial, multi-unit or community use location. Labor not included.

best investment ever

we bought our MHP WNK sometime in the late 1990s; i paid around $ 800.00 for it and thought it was a huge amount to be spending on a grill at that time; we live within a mile of the beach in north carolina; the grill has sat uncovered through every hurricane and storm on our back deck since it was purchased. we cook on it approximately 3-4 times a week. the only things replaced have been the bricks, wooden handle, finally the burner this year and a rubber tube that went from the propane to the grill, and many many tanks of propane. it may not be the most attractive grill due to wear and tear but it cooks a mean steak.

I bought this model 26 years ago, basically still looks just like this new one. It is as solid today as the day I bought it! The only things I have updated was the bricks, and the burners. I mean even the wheels are still original! I've kept it outside for all of those 26 yeas under a typical grill cover. The original grill cover that I bought with it lasted for YEARS! If I ever need another one, which i won't it would be this one again hands down. Thank you for making a true classic to the point stainless grill! Scott Cincinnati

Best Grill I've Ever Owned

I've owned many grills including premium offerings from Weber and Lion. After about a 100 uses, this grill easily bests them all. The Sear Magic grates work as advertised and add a ton of versatility to the grill. From steaks to burgers to fajitas, this grill makes it easy, The best part of the grill for me is the even heating surface. There are no hot and cold zones. The entire cooking area cooks evenly. This is a critical attribute for me as I find managing hot and cold spots while cooking to be inconvenient at best. Another nice attribute is durability. This grill is very basic but uses quality components throughout. I suspect this grill will last a lifetime. If you're on the fence purchasing this grill, buy it. It might not have all of "features" other grills have (including ones you may rarely or ever use), but this grill does the best at basic, no frills, grilling...and it will probably outlive you.

Best grill ever — never been more satisfied

I almost never review products, and I'm late to review this as I bought it here 3 years ago. I had never heard of MHP before I saw one in action at a family member's house. I learned that MHP made the first home grills in America, and their grills are still 100% made in America (Illinois) — and that is clearly reflected in the quality. It is a WORKHORSE, that cast iron hood is indestructible and retains heat beautifully. All of the parts are cleverly made for easy cleaning — from the briquettes to the burners and gas tubes. The sides quickly fold down or up (giving it a slim profile when not using), and they have plenty of hooks for tools. Also, an anecdote to illustrate the durability: I live in New York and have always covered my grills in the winter. So I called MHP's customer service (you always get someone on the phone in their HQ quickly) and asked if I should buy a grill cover. She responded by saying, "Well, our grills I made to withstand pretty harsh Illinois winters, and the last think I'd want to do is take a cover off in the snow every time I want to use the grill." Translation—unless you live in Alaska, this grill can withstand anything! Mine still looks like new three years later and works like the day I got it. I had one burner knob crack about a month ago, called MHP and they sent me a complimentary replacement. I really can't recommend this company enough. Also, buying from BBQGuys was a great local option, they delivered it on time and set it up perfectly. They also took my old Weber for free. Great grill, great distributor.

Excellent grill

We grill year round so we wanted something that would take the northeast weather and I think we found what we were looking for! Grill gets hot ,really hot. Sears meat with ease. Very easy to clean and with the stainless pedestal looks good too. We gave away a Weber genesis because it didn't heat evenly and it really wasn't a good cooking grill. Uneven heat ,cold spots and didn't sear meat . This MHP grill really does a nice job with everything that we have cooked. One last thing ,flare ups. We cooked over a dozen chicken thighs on high heat and we did not have one flare up . My old Weber was constantly shooting fire out when we cooked anything with a little grease in it let alone chicken thighs which are loaded with grease. I highly recommended it!

I really like my new MHP WNK4 grill

My old MHP WNK grill is 13 years old. That is why I purchased the another MHP WNK propane grill. Living in Florida, I use my grill 2 to 3 times a week all year long. Since my 13 year old MHP WNK grill still works, I put it out by the pool for hamburger/hotdog cookouts by the pool and keep my new grill up by the house for day-to-day use.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
