We si lve our Joetisserie! We can finally cook our own lechon in. Lechon is hard to find where we were at. And thought the Joetisserie will make it possible our home missed pork belly. Life changing way to roast chicken

I have been using this for many years now and I have to say its the best way to roast a chicken, we no longer buy them at the store we always do our own. It does not stop there, I have done ham, roast beef and paired with the basket the possibilities are endless. My specialty with the JoeTisserie and Basket is wings and they do not disappoint. The neighbors come running to grab a wing, if I am on the deck with a drink in hand they are standing next to me for that hot off the grill wing.

Do you really need it? YES

Out of all the accessories I have this one is used the most. I just bought the basket so I can't wait to try that out. From roasting a whole duck or chicken, prime rib, or doing Mediterranean chicken this accessory is very versatile. I have seen pictures of doing fish in the new basket but have not been able to do that. Is it necessary, no. But if you want to switch it up and try something new that is relatively easy and makes you more involved in the cook then this is for you. I recommend watching a few "how to" videos first. As with most of KJ products you will not be disappointed.

Hi Larry. This JoeTisserie is made for Kamado Joe Classic 18 inch kamado grills. The dimensions of the 18 inch Kamado Joe Classic's body and cooking grates are quite a bit different, so it's not likely to fit the Lifesmart 15 kamado.

Question:
Normally, I use a probe for internal temps and grill temp that has sends the information to a receiver in the house. Since this obviously spins, how to you keep tabs on internal temperature of the meat? I assume you just have to watch it, check it more often, etc. Seems like a drawback to me.

Hey Michael! We have various remote BBQ thermometers on our site that can update you on the internal temperature via bluetooth to the receiver or send a direct update to your phone if there is Wi-Fi available. That would be the only way to get the internal temperature of the meat. Hope this information helps!

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
