This sturdy, porcelain-enamel coated cast iron griddle will expand your grilled menu options, with no seasoning of the grate required! Nothing beats pancakes or French toast on the grill. This griddle is also perfect for grilling food that typically would fall through the grates like scallops, asparagus and zucchini. It looks like they could have made it another 1-2 inches larger and I would have appreciated that extra space but it's just big enough for me to make food for 4-5 people. Hi Bja. Depending on the model number of your Genesis grill, this Weber griddle might work. It is designed for the Genesis II grills. Being that it is porcelain coated, it is unlikely to rust as long as the coating stays intact and undamaged.

The slope is fairly gentle and typically a pancake or egg will set quickly enough on the bottom to avoid down the griddle.

Yes, you can do that. The griddles rest on the same notches as the grill grates. Only cautionary note with using twin griddles: they are going to give more ambient heat inside the grill since they are basically two solid cast iron components. Make sure the bottom of your grill is cleaned out and with no grease buildup. Otherwise, you may risk grease flair from the griddle's ambient heat.

Answer:

this is a powerhorse of a griddle. Kids can't lift it. :) Nothing can damage it. We use heavy duty metal spatulas to make our smashburgers. Scrape it clean when done, leave it on or take it off, no matter. Takes super high heat. You won't be sorry. Practically indestructable. Don't leave under water or soaking in anyway, however. Treat it as you would your cast iron griddle you have in your pan drawer.
