This 36-inch built-in gas grill features 18 gauge 304 grade stainless steel construction with a double-walled canopy and continuously hand-welded grill box with seamless edges. The C2C36LP gas grill offers stainless steel, performance enhancing heat control grids that minimize flare-ups and distribute heat evenly across the 640 square inch cooking area. This propane gas grill is powered by four, high performance Coyote Infinity Burners which deliver up to 80,000 BTUs of cooking power. The burners are lit by an easy to use, push and turn ignition system while the internal halogen grill lights will keep you grilling into the night. Coyote Outdoor warrants that each product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials on the stainless steel frame/housing and stainless steel burners for the lifetime of the original purchaser. They also warrant the cooking grids for five (5) years, the flavorizer bars and electric/plastic components for two (2) years, and the ignition systems/valves for one (1) year. Labor not included.

Depends are your outdoor settingThis grill is the best cooking grill I have ever had, BUT!!!! there are serious design flaws. I live in Texas where we have this thing called wind. This grill is very poorly designed if not enclosed and any wind at all can get to it. There are huge gaps between the lid and the grill. The wind blows through and pushes the flame forward so much, the knobs are so hot I can't touch them. The have a wind guard that is worthless, in fact it does not even fit. When you open the lid, it hits the guard and knocks it down. Also, there is a guard over the top rack so close, when you set meat up on the top rack and want to baste, you can barely get your brush in there. Just a very weak design from a usability stand point. If you are out doors and not an enclosed patio area, I would stay away from this grill. | Was This Helpful? | |
I would not buy this grill again.We grill dinner in our ourdoor kitchen every night so I have lots of grilling experience. I bought the Coyote as a replacement for my completely worn out grill. All I can say is that I hate this grill. The quality is excellent, but it cooks way too hot. There is no way to cook in medium heat. When cooking ribs I had to cut the rack in half then cook on one side only using the burners on the other side. This means loosing one half of the grill space. Like I said, I hate this grill period. Coyote C-28 Gas Grill is the bell cow of the Coyote C-Series, made with top of the line all 304 Stainless Steel. The popular freestanding Coyote C-28, also known as the grill in a box, is affordable, comes assembled, and is packed with great features. The great features include soft close doors, a pull out LP tank shelf, and two fold down side shelves.
The Coyote C-28 Gas Grill includes the top of the line Cast Stainless Steel Infinity Burners, the same burners that are on the Coyote S-Series. The Infinity Burners are packed with 20,000 BTU's cooking power each, and provide excellent high heat and lasting durability. The burners are lit with an easy to use push and turn flame thrower ignition system. The internal halogen lights illuminate and give you the convenience and flexibility to grill at night.
The Coyote C-28 features 304 stainless steel cooking grids. These provide maximum durability, and great sear marks. For cooking surface versatility you can upgrade to the Signature Cooking Grates. These allow you to cook shrimp, fish, or vegetables at the same time. Under the cooking grids you will find Stainless Steel flame tamers. The flame tamers cover the entire cooking area and turn drippings into flavorable smoke. If you prefer Ceramic Briquettes, Coyote offers them as an accessory. We know that some customers prefer ceramic briquettes, though we found the performance to be very similar between ceramic or stainless steel.
As an optional accessory Coyote offers the convenience of cooking with charcoal with the Coyote Charcoal Tray. Want to make Sunday breakfast outside on the grill? The Coyote Stainless Steel Drop In Griddle ia a great optional accessory. Rounding out the C-Series, Coyote also offers the Coyote 34 & 36 inch Gas Grills. They are packed with the same great features, including the Cast Stainless Steel infinity Burners.
Things To Consider:
While the C-Series has a lifetime warranty on the exterior Stainless Steel and the burners, it's not lifetime on every component. 5 years on the cooking grids, 2 years on the flame tamers, and 1 year on the valve and ignition.
