Amazing Grill!

I came from a stainless weber genesis special edition yadda yadda. Love that grill. My old jalopy at the cabin gave out so my Genny headed to the cabin leaving me in need of a grill at home. I looked hard at the summit, because i loved my genesis, and 16 years later its still running strong. Somehow stumbled across napoleon and after comparing the prestige pro 825 to the summit i was looking at, i pulled the trigger on the Napoleon. This thing is legit. From the unnecessary but totally cool lighted knobs/proximity light, to the soft close hinges on the doors and drawers. I cook family meals 1-2days a week, and every sunday we have between 25-60 people over for bible study. This thing has made seared and rotisseried prime rib to turkey burgers, tomahawk steaks to stuffed zucchini, pizza to venison roasts. Not bad for about a month in. It seems a little warmer in the back than in the front... but nothing crazy. Love the sizzle zone. 100x better than webers sear station which is frustratingly un-searable. Smoke tube is awesome and super easy to use. It is difficult to remove to refill when its hot though. Full length rotisserie is awesome, but the motor seems under powered. To be fair... my usual rotisserie i use has a 1/2hp motor on it and is 10 feet long. We've had 360lbs of turkeys on it. This one is comparatively lacking. I bought the fitted cover, fits nice. Pros: usable space, sizzle zone, integrated smoke tube, rotisserie, back "infrared" burner, cabinets and drawers. Cons: no where to store the long rotisserie rod. It seperates, but its still too long to fit in the cabinet. I hung 2 "S" hooks off the back of the grill to hang it in. Works great, but looks ghetto. Must develop Future upgrade: personalized proximity light!!! Why shine "Napoleon" on the ground when you could shine "Derek's Napoleon", or "i rub my own meat" on the ground? Most anyone would pay a hundred or so on a 5k grill to have a personalized or witty light.

One of the very best !

I grilled a lot and had many different grills when I was younger. I've been cooking on a Jenn-Air propane grill for 17 years, primarily for my family and friends. When it came time to look for something new, I was very cautious and hesitant about buying the right grill. I was comfortable with my old jenny and enjoyed the stainless steel and solid construction. Still, it seemed like replacing parts on it every couple of years was becoming the norm, and eventually, they became near extinct to find. After much research, I found BBQ guys and looked at what I wanted vs. the reviews! I've paid my dues and feel I'm in a position to purchase something I will genuinely enjoy instead of settling for something decent. When the 825 showed up, I was blown away, it looks just as awesome in person, and the cooking features are exceptional ! I continue to order accessories, and I have to say my friends and family are envious, but they also know that they will get top-quality commercial-style cooking, which is fun and easy to do. You will not be disappointed at all. The smoker tray works wonders for that extra favor for just about anything, and the charcoal tray accessory makes it feel like that nostalgic campsite or park-type cooking at its best. I sear all my steaks and chops, and it's just pure perfection. The side burner is great for large pots of corn, cast-iron kettle-style fries, peppers, and more. I haven't even tapped into the rotisserie yet, and my wife has me cooking on it more than ever. The lighting features and interior lights are the finales that dazzle everyone in the late evening; even my teenagers and college-aged kids think it's fantastic. If you are a serious cook, intermediate, or a rookie....I promise you will be the talk of the neighborhood and become an even better chef than you can expect. I've never had something that offers the very best features and innovations with near-exact science behind this product. It is, in my opinion, one of the very best!

Grill of grills

I have this grill about a year now. What can I say, it is an outdoor kitchen. Can do whatever you want it to do. Quality made and function's flawlessly. Beware though, you need space for this grill as it is about 8' across and takes up the end of my deck. BTW. The light show is a nice touch. If you are in the market for a large grill or outdoor kitchen, this model is for you. Highly recommend.

You will be glad you got this grill.

Just bought this grill two weeks ago. I love it. It does everything. I also wanted to say that I had a great experience with BBQ.com. I saw on other websites poor reviews experiences about them. I can tell you that the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered this monster grill on a Saturday and it was at my house the following Friday. I am happy I gave them a try.

problems

I don't like the infrared burner setup. Not as good as I have used on other grills. Also the burner setup doesn't work for the rotisserie because the fat drips down on the burner and catches everything on fire including the meat.

Leaks grease when cooking, Water enters the drawer when rain

It worked pretty good. Then after grilling some burgers I noticed grease dripping onto the concrete (those stains are there forever). Then I saw the grease dripping out the front of the cover and running down the front. Also, the pan that collects drips and sends them to the drip pan catches fire sometimes. The cabinet underneath that pan has heat and smoke damage. Don't let this thing near your house unless you have good insurance. I no longer use the main burner. The infrared burners are pretty good. So for 5 grand you can use the sear burners. Also, If it rains, the center drawers get a lot of water in them. I feel like I wasted a lot of money. I will buy something less expensive but more useful to replace this from the local big box store.

The Skinny:

  • Well-known brand name
  • Fully loaded with great features
  • Proudly made in North America
  • Great Warranty

Things We Love:

The Napoleon Prestige Pro is a feature packed gas grill with innovative accessories and integrated functionality. The Prestige Pro series comes with an infrared rear burner, rotisserie, and “sizzle zone” infrared burner. Freestanding Prestige Pro models also include an ice bucket with integrated cutting board. You can also add the optional charcoal tray for even more ways to cook. The grill comes with LED Spectrum Night Light control knobs with color customizable lights. The lights have a safety glow feature that make them glow red when a burner is in use. The Prestige Pro series also has interior grill lighting for night time grilling and lighting in the storage area under the grill. I also really like Napoleon’s doubled lined “lift-ease” lid, which opens easily and helps hold in heat for optimal heat retention. The lid is hinged near the middle and, when open, adds hardly any depth to the back of the grill. This allows for easy placement in a variety of spaces. The Pro 825 has two “sizzle zone” burners in the second grill area, and a two stage power burners on the side shelf.

One thing that really sets the Prestige Pro apart is its storage features. The Pro boasts soft close storage doors, built-in shelving in the cabinet, condiment racks, tool hooks, towel bars, and even a bottle opener with cap catcher.

Napoleon Prestige Pro grills have stainless steel tube burners that are lit by a "Jetfire" electronic ignition. The Pro series has stainless steel grates with a patented wave design that creates unique sear marks. To spread heat evenly, Napoleon has stainless steel sear plates. The plates also protect the burners and help reduce flare-ups.

The Prestige Pro grills are also available as built-in models, a perfect fit for any outdoor kitchen.

The warranty on the Prestige Pro series is a standout in its class, having a lifetime warranty on the exterior housing, cooking grids, and stainless steel cooking box. Napoleon also boasts a 10 year + 5 warranty on their burners and flame tamers that provides replacement parts at a 50% of normal cost for 5 years after the 10 year warranty expires.

Thing To Consider:

While this grill is built tough, and backed by a strong warranty, Napoleon Prestige Pro grills are not "all stainless steel", which is what many customers are shopping for nowadays. Along with the stainless steel components on the grill, you will also find cast aluminum and porcelain enameled steel components too, such as cart legs, back panels, etc.

Question:
What is the actual footprint of this grill? I know it's 94.25" wide in total, but I'd like to know how wide the bottom is because I have a concrete space surrounded by gravel and want to know if it will fit on it. Thanks.

Question:
How wide is the 825 without either side attachments? I'm looking to replace an older Napolean (PF600) and have an opening in my outdoor kitchen that is 55 inches wide. I'm also curious about the 665 without either side attachment. Thanks

Answer:
Mostly assembled. You have to connect the side burner and the side storage bin and connect some hoses and wires. The main cabinet and grill unit comes assembled.

Answer:
No, but there's a video which is simple to follow. The main body is fully assembled so you only need to install the stuff on the sides, grills, and tank, rotisserie. I thought it was fairly easy. Good luck and enjoy. Jason

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
