Choice Series grills are the most affordable line that Fire Magic offers, featuring superior design and materials inside Aurora-style housing. In addition to the standard premium features, the new Multi-User collection of Choice series grill includes several features designed to withstand frequent use in areas like resorts and condos. The CM540I built-in natural gas grill is constructed of 304 stainless steel for long lasting quality, with a satin finish and comfort touch knobs on a sleek and simple control panel. The knobs are made with locking pins as an anti-theft measure. Integrated into the hood are a wind guard to prevent airflow into the exhaust vent, and an analog thermometer with an angled bezel for easier viewing. Inside, three 16-gauge stainless steel tubular burners provide 60,000 BTUs. These burners are lit by reliable Rapid Light ignition that requires no battery or external power. Flavor grids protect the burners from grease and debris, while also spreading heat evenly to the cooking surface. The 540 sq. inch cooking surface is comprised of patented Diamond Sear cooking grids, which feature a trapezoidal shape that optimally transfers heat from the fire to your food. They are locked into place by the face panel to prevent theft. An adjustable warming rack adds extra space for keeping food hot, and is also locked for theft prevention. The disposable drip pan system makes cleanup easy. Raised hangers line the sides and back of the grill for seamless built-in installation. As an added safety feature, this unit includes a 1-hour automatic gas shut-off timer. This is perfect for common use areas where users might forget to shut off the burners. In addition, the operating instructions for the grill are laser etched onto the control panel face so that they can never be misplaced. All of these design enhancements back up a strong 5 year limited warranty. Fire Magic Warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and conditions for the following periods: Cast stainless steel burners, stainless steel cooking grids, and stainless steel housing for the lifetime of the user; brass valves, inner liners, manifold assemblies, porcelain housings, and backburner assemblies (excluding ignition parts) for fifteen (15) years; flavor grids and infrared burners on the grill for five (5) years; side burners and other Fire Magic grill components (excluding ignition and electronic parts) for three (3) years; and ignition systems (except batteries), electronic components (including lights and thermometers), and grill accessories for one (1) year. Labor is included for two (2) years up to $120.

Things We Love:
The Fire Magic Choice gas grill is a great value, considering it’s made with quality stainless steel and powerful burners. Fire Magic produces some of the finest grills money can buy, and this grill is a great example of their craftsmanship. The 304 grade stainless steel hood is double lined with beautiful polished edges and looks really sharp.
The Choice comes with “u-shaped” stainless steel tube burners. Like all other Fire Magic grills, these burners create different heat zones across the grilling surface. The burners have versatile cooking performance, working equally well at high and low temperatures. The Diamond Sear stainless steel cooking grids offer more surface contact than your typical round grids, so your food gets a great sear every time. The cooking grids now come standard on the Choice series grills. Underneath the cooking grids are the stainless steel flavor grids, made of 16-gauge stainless steel with perforations that help protect the burners and reduce flare-ups.
Fire Magic also delivers with a great warranty. The stainless cooking grids and housing has a lifetime warranty. Meanwhile, the burners have a 20 year warranty, and other components vary in length. The bottom line is Fire Magic is a reputable company that builds quality products, and our customers who buy Fire Magic report very few problems back to us.
Choice grills are backed by a strong multi-user warranty. They are available in built-in or on a post, which make them an excellent choice for these installations. The multi-user warranty is 5 years on housing, burners, grates, valves, inner liner, manifold and 1 year on all other components.
Things To Consider:
The grill is designed with heat zones, which provide a hot zone across the back, while the front corner zones are slightly cooler. This is something to consider if you are looking for a grill with an even heat cooking surface, however, some customers like this feature and use it to shift food around on the grill. This grill is basic and as such, it lacks many of the extra features found on similarly priced grills.
