- Single glow plug designed for use with the SmokeFire EX4 and EX6 - both Gen 1 and Gen 2 models.
- Heating element for igniting pellets
This glow plug is a replacement plug for Weber SmokeFire EX4 and EX6 - Gen 1 and Gen 2 - grills. These glow plugs have an element that heats up like a light bulb to ignite the wood pellets when starting up the grill. After start-up, the glow plug will turn off as the constant fire will help maintain the temperature.

| Glow plug doesn't lastI love my Webber smokefire but I have resigned myself to the fact that I have to keep a replacement glow plug available st all times. Very annoying but I have to continually order new glow plugs to be sure to have one when the current one goes out, which it will...Wish it wasn't so but every time I grill for a long period of time on my smoke fire , undoubtedly the glow plug will expire. But I love my smoke fire so I make sure the glow plug is working (and that I have a spare one) every time I use it, I guess its a small price to pay for a great smoker! | Was This Helpful? |

| Early Replacement of Glow Plug?I was surprised when I received the alert that my glow plug required replacement after only a year. But when I tried to pull the old one out the connector was melted. | Glow plugsSeems after replacing the original glow plug after 1 year plus the next 2 that came later in the mail only lasted 2-3 cooks apiece put the original back in while ordering another it lasted another year.
