Both attachments deliver big performance, not to mention even heating courtesy of an innovative diffuser plate that sits below the cooking surface. For the Grill Top, this plate also channels food drippings away from the burner to prevent flare-ups and maintain stable temperatures of up to 700F. The Griddle Top, meanwhile, has an elevated surround frame to box in hot splatter, plus airflow openings under the cooking area to alleviate overheating. Just position either on top of the Firebox and let the specially integrated channels work their magic! The Grill Top, which weighs a mere 20 lbs, even has a convenient front handle and closure latch to make carrying a breeze.
