I am buying the Blaze Professional 34 inch 3 burner again

This is the best built grill that I have purchased. After several new home builds and premium grills installed I bought the Blaze after doing my research and was amazed in the quality of the product. Everything about this grill is well built, easy to clean and made to last for years. I am ordering another grill with access doors for my new home that I will hopefully retire in. Thanks for offering this product.

Product has held up over time and they honor their warranty.

I bought this grill from BBQ guys about 6 years ago. I've loved cooking on the grill. It has an even heat stainless grates are very solid. There has been no wear on the cooking grates at all. I had some issues with the burners beginning to rust and some holes forming in the flame tamers. I sent pictures to Blaze and explained the issue. No questions asked the mailed me 3 new burners and 3 new flame tamers. Had them in hand within a few days. It was about $1K in parts and they replaced them without flinching. A good product with a great warranty that they honor. Definitely recommend.

Yes I would buy this again!

I looked around for a long time and wanted something that was well built and that it is. This grill is more heavy-duty than anything I have seen. Due to the heavy construction it does take longer to heat up. Lighting is another plus as most of my grilling is in the evening. This is a nice addition to my outdoor cooking area. I have two other grills a green egg and an infrared grill. I plan to do rack of lamb tonight on the blaze for the first time. I will braze the lamb on the infrared grill and set the Blaze to low heat. Everything I have tried has turned out well. The only problem I encountered is only two screws hold the grill to the cart in the front. Nothing in the back so when moving the grill around the back end will shift to the left or right and if you don't have the cart shelves set just right it will interfere closing the shelf.

A whole new grilling experience!!

What a terrific grill. Solid, well-built, and great looking. More importantly, it cooks very evenly across the entire cooking area. The burners and grates and SOLID!!! (Take them out before you try to lift this puppy - they are incredibly heavy, which bodes quite well for their durability). Just tried the rotisserie and it works like a charm.

I absolutely love this grill!

I got the grill installed and up and running in September of 2020. I love it I use it weekly! I like everything about this grill, but the things I really like are the heavy grates, the heavy flame tamers work very well, the lights on the inside are bright and very helpful too. It looks amazing and can get super hot or run consistently for extended periods of baking. I haven't used the Rotisserie burner yet so no review of it but I'm sure it'll be great. It seems very well built as well. I wouldn't think there is much better at this price point. I researched for months and made the call on this one and think it worked out great very happy.

Excellent high heat and well built

Just getting started with my Blaze Professional, and I love it so far. I have cooked filets, wings and sausage. Every meal has been delicious. My steaks had a good smoky hint to them and it was almost like they'd been cooked on my old charcoal grill. The cooking grates are seriously thick and make nice grill marks. I like turning on the lights whenever I have company over to show off the grill.

Highly Recommend

This is a fantastic grill! Very easy to use, ignites the first time every time. The cooking grids make great sear marks and I find there are no hot spots on this grill. If you want no flare ups, the flame tamer upgrade is well worth it. I find this grill also has a better look than most others. Also, the warranty is best in class.

Beautiful Grill, Amazing Quality and Cooking Performance

Cooked for the first time on the Blaze Professional and was highly impressed. First the grill looks amazing, and love the red lights. The quality appears to be outstanding and solid. Cooking wise, this grill reaches extreme heat and cooks great with no cold spots. Very even heat! My steaks and burgers came out perfect with beautiful sear marks, which made me look like a pro, lol. I highly recommend this grill for the money.

I would definitely buy again.

Had our outdoor kitchen completed about a week ago, and all our Blaze product are top notch. Delivery and support was spectacular. We installed the Pro Power Burner, the Pro 34" Grill, and the Griddle, along with the sink and Blaze drawers and cabinet doors. In the week that these have been installed, we have not cooked indoors. We've used the grill and griddle extensively. The grill is great, but we have fallen in love with the griddle. It is a game changer. Weather permitting, we will probably use our outdoor kitchen the majority of the time. We haven't used the burn but once so far, but but it is wonderful as well. Unfortunately I was unable to find the handle for the lid. Searched the entire box and packaging foam, but no luck. Sent a message to BBQGuys customer service, but still waiting on a response. I definitely recommend BBQGuys and the Blaze product. Great quality. Hopefully they last, but time will tell.

Question:
How many pounds of meat can the rotisserie motor properly turn ?

Answer:
Hi Chubby. The Blaze Rotisserie Kit can handle up to 20 pounds.

Question:
Why are there no customer reviews on this grill? I am most concerned about even-ness of heating across the grill, ability to maintain a temperature, and ability to avoid flare ups. Seems like many expensive and promising grills have issues with these areas. It would really stink to custom build an island around an expensive grill and not be happy with the performance.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Scott, I purchased this grill over a year ago and am quite happy with the quality of construction and the performance. I don't have any issues with evenness, although it can run hot if you leave it on a high-flame setting. It easily maintains temperature, and my grill is in a custom island along the side of my house. I live on a ridge, overlooking agriculture and the ocean in the distance, so it can be windy as the sun goes down. This can impact lower temperature cooking, but I believe that would happen with any gas grill. I don't have flare-up issues, but high fat or oil content in any grilled item can cause additional burn if you are not careful. If it does happen, I feel good about the health of the grill with the heavy stainless grill parts. We like our grill 😃👍

Answer:
I've had this grill for about a year and honestly it's been great. Easy to clean. No problems with flare-ups. Heats up nicely. I have had no problems with evenness of heat and heat is easy to maintain. Easy to start also. Looks great also. Seems to be well built and sturdy. Only complaint I had was that it didn't have much of an owner's manual but i found everything I needed online. Good luck Cary Sanders DDS 2000 Vermont Suite 200 Fort Collins CO 80525

We purchased this grill last fall and have had nothing but good luck with an outdoor custom kitchen designed by Walpole Woodworkers up here in the Boston area. My wife does most of the grilling and say this is head & shoulders above any other grill we've ever owned. We've had no issue with any of the potential problems you've mentioned below over the last 6 months. Thanks

Answer:
I bought this grill after extensive research. I was doing a large outdoor project and wanted to be sure of the same things. I will say this grill is as advertised. It works very well, BBQguys were very helpful and shipping was very quick. I'm in Texas they are in Louisiana so not too far anyway. I have had this grill since September 2020, I love it. It can get super hot and holds very well. The ignitors are pretty cool but unfortunately one wouldn't work out of the box, I had to call BBQguys for help with it. They will stand behind your purchase too.I love the thick octagon grates that's one of the big features I was excited about also as far as flare-ups I haven't had anything that I would consider out of the ordinary. I'm really proud to show it off and it looks as good as it works. I also bought the Blaze Griddle too and I will say that thing is something else! I absolutely love it too. It's hard to decide which one I like better! They are both so nice and fun to use! I've never used a grill this powerful and this nice before but I couldn't imagine any of the other more expensive grills being any better. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again or recommend it.

Answer:
I am very happy with my Blaze. There is a small tendency to be a little hotter toward the back but that may be due to the fact that it is surrounded by brick in the back whereas the front is open to the air. It's not much of a difference but it's there. It gets nice and hot, even in the winter, so that is good. I don't have a big problem with flare ups but you have to realize that if you put something greasy on there, you will get flames with the grease burns. I have never seen a grill that could magically make grease non-flammable. It is just something you have to be mindful of when you grill. I hope this helps. STEPHEN BLOCK | PRINCIPAL

Question:
I would like to put this grill under my porch next to my pool but is rust a big concern? I know Blaze has a option of a model that is 316 stainless but it is much smaller than this grill
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Steven. Blaze has a marine grade grill that is 32 inches in width, not much smaller than this grill. Unless your pool is salt water, I wouldn't worry too much. If you anticipate water getting onto it, I would make sure you regularly and thoroughly wipe it down and dry it.

Question:
Would this work for a 38" cutout? We are trying to replace an old 36" Kitchenaid grill. We would love to transition over to a Blaze product if possible. Is there a way we could make this fit?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, thanks for asking. This grill requires a cutout width of 32 1/4-Inches, so the 38-Inch cutout is too large for it to fit. We recommend speaking with a licensed professional for advice on handling this item with your outdoor kitchen.

Question:
Does this come with a grill liner (or not need one) for being placed in a combustible island? For instance, my island is 2x6 pressure treated wood with cement board and stone veneer. If not, how much is it for the liner on the 34" and 40" models?

Answer:
Hi there! This grill does not come with the insulated jacket but you will need one if installing into a combustible material. This is the one you will need for this Blaze 3-burner grill: www.bbqguys.com/blaze-outdoor-products/insulated-jacket-for-professional-3-burner-gas-grills-blz-3pro-ij For the Blaze 4-burner grill, you will need this one: www.bbqguys.com/blaze-outdoor-products/insulated-jacket-for-professional-4-burner-gas-grills-blz-4pro-ij

Hi Scott! Yes, you will need an insulated grill jacket to use a grill in a combustible island. Question:
With the 3 burner professional grill does adding an infrared section add a significant amount of heat to sear compared to the 3 "routine " burners? Can it be added at a later time if not happy with the regular burners in this regard? Thanks John LaRossa
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi John, the Blaze Professional infrared sear burner is much more effective for searing than the traditional burners. Rather than heating the air, then heating food, the ceramic part of the burner diffuses the flame and outputs more concentrated and uniform infrared heat; this direct heating method cooks meats more quickly and is ideal for locking in juices before overcooking. If you decide to go with just traditional gas burners, we do offer the Blaze Professional infrared searing burner as an optional accessory that you can install anytime!

Question:
How hot will the grill get with the standard pro burners? Is it hot enough to really sear without over cooking a steak? How hot will the pizza stone get on the pro burners- is it over 800F that you need for a pizza oven?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Ron. The temperature range can vary depending on outside temperatures and how much you're cooking at one time, but this grill will get hot enough to sear steak without overcooking or bake pizza. Just preheat the grill at high for the steak or medium for the pizza, and you'll be good to go.

Question:
I have a very small clearance for the hood to open behind my grill. What is the clearance/overhang of the hood from the back of the grill please? I need one that is almost flush to the back point of grill. Thank you
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
A distance of 5 inches will be needed behind the grill for the lid to open and close. Also keep in mind that the manufacturer specifies that more clearance is required if the nearest material is combustible, like wood.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
