I would not buy this product again.

This Grill is a work horse, but be careful the flame is very close to the grates so you have to use it on low to medium, High is for cleaning only and heating the grill up, but you must lower it or your food will burn. The Red LED lights on the knobs looks great at night.

Big and Beautiful

I bought the Grill, power burner, and griddle for my outdoor kitchen. I LOVE this grill - by far the best I've ever had! This grill has kept up with parties of 25 plus, and family meals three days a week. It cooks consistently across the entire surface, and you can shut down zones for smaller meals and cooking with indirect heat. The grates are super durable and easy to clean. The built in lights provide enough lighting for cooking at night, and the illumination is pretty cool. Love my grill...

Very happy with this purchase

I spend the summers cooking for pool parties and this grill has served me well. I'm glad I bought it and I would choose it again. I added a searing burner, and now I'm coming back to buy another one because when I want to sear, I want to sear a lot, and the one searing burner needs company.

Best grill I ever owned

I've had this grill for 3 years. No problems whatsoever! I live in a very humid environment which is why I wanted a heavy grade grill with lots of stainless. This has endured a lot. I'm replacing my cover now after 3 years - it's endured a lot! lol Other than that, great experience.

Excellent job on packaging and delivery!

Ordered freestanding 40 inch 5 burner propane grill and received in 10 days as promised. Delivered in two shipments. Driver brought it up to my garage. No damage at all to product. Grill and components were packaged securely. Grill components look well made. Solid construction. Assembly was a breeze. Little to cold to fire it up at this time, however, will report back on the quality of functionality. So far very impressed.

Outstanding customer service. Outstanding Product.

I had an old Jenn-Air built in grill that was on its last leg so I started shopping for a replacement. I found the BBQGUYS website and began searching. I was undecided until I saw the sale price of the Blaze 40-inch 5-burner Natural Gas with infrared burner and grill lights. I was ready to order on-line when my wife noticed the headline that said "call for best pricing". I told her it was already a sale price and shouldn't bother. Bottom line, she called. The sales Rep was outstanding, so nice and knowledgeable.Got the grill, rotisserie kit, infrared searing burner, cover, and extended warranty for less than the original price of the grill alone! Wow! I placed the order figuring with the supply chain issues I would be lucky to get it by spring. I ordered on Nov 2 2021, received everything by Nov 10 2021! Double Wow! I installed the grill and have used it several times now, it's a great grill! Great customer service, great product! Highly recommended.

Great Grill so far!

The grill arrived with the cart unassembled. The Grill itself in mostly assembled, packaged extremely well. It does take two people to attach the grill to the stand. It's pretty heavy. The removal of the burner and installing of the infrared burned is a breeze. There were no instructions where and how to mount the electrical box for the lights. The drip pan, I expected to be a heavier gauge stainless steel. The edges of the drip pan are sharp and not rolled. So watch your fingers! The Grill heats up fast, sears meat fast and cooks pretty evenly. I have found a few spots the are cooler when I grilled chicken wings. My concern is there is a gap in the rear, between the lid and the back of the grill. This gap will allow heat to escape so the temperature gauge will not reflect the actual inside temperature and it will not retain heat. It would be like leaving your over door open while it is on. The quality seem to be very good and it does cook to my liking so far. Now its a test of time. This grill replaced my Broil Master Grill I have for 19 years. I hope to get many years out if this one.

Question:
What size regulator does this grill require for propane? I'm told my current regulator is much too big because it was previously feeding the pool heater that's no longer in use so I want to get the correct regulator for my new outdoor kitchen
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
HI Jason. We would suggest using a convertible regulator like the one from Blaze: www.bbqguys.com/i/2861956/blaze/regulator-natural-gas-or-bulk-liquid-propane-blz-32-050 However, your licensed gas installer can also provide one during the installation.

The drip pan on my grill seems to capture a lot of water in addition to dripping and when I go to pull it out to clean it, the greasy water spills everywhere. Is anyone else having this issue? Am I not doing something correctly??

Hi Vin. This is fairly common with all built in grills. To help reduce the issue, we suggest keeping the grill covered when not in use, especially during rain.

Hi Scott, insulated jackets are required if you are building in to a combustible material such as wood or bamboo. If you're using noncombustible materials, you should be fine to install this without the jacket.

Question:
I'm considering building and installing an outdoor kitchen up against the house, but beneath a roof overhang/bump-out. If I were to line the wall with cement board and a faux-type stonework and use an insulated liner for the built-in grill, how much clearance would be required from the back of the grill to the house?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Mark! According to page 10 in the Blaze manual, you should not install a grill where a overhang or awning will cover it. The hood clearance needed is 5-inches for the hood to open properly but 16 inches distance is needed from combustible items. The determination of whether something is combustible is up to your local fire marshal or building inspector. Please see pages 9-11 of the instruction manual for more details. cdn.shocho.co/sc-specsheets/Blaze-LTE2-User-Manual-04-2019.pdf

Question:
I bought this grill from you and wanted to see if there is a built in propane regulator? I see it comes with a hose with regulator to hook up to tank, but I have piped in propane gas with a quick connect. What regulator should I use for grill or can I just connect directly from my piped in propane. thanks
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Jimmy! This grill, hose and regulator is set up for use with a 20 pound propane tank. Please see page 18 of the user manual for more information. Use with any other size propane tank would need to be discussed and set up with a licensed gas professional. User manual:cdn.shocho.co/sc-specsheets/Blaze-LTE2-User-Manual-04-2019.pdf

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
