If looking for a tough, well built stove, you've found it.

I bought one of these stoves 8 to 10 years ago. Survived a flood we had almost 4 years ago and it's still going strong! It's really a bit more than what we needed for cooking in our cabin, but that's OK - if we want to warm up our little cabin, it can do it in short order. The "inner" burner can be controlled independently of the outer ring, which is nice. Heck of tough & reliable stove.

American Built is the Best

I have not fired this up yet, but assembly and end result give the impression of an extremely well designed and well built product

A heavy monster of a stove

Arrived in good condition. Assembled, and ran at fullbore outside to burn off the paint and adjust the air/fuel mixture. This is a very heavyweight and large stove, much more than expected. So far everything looks good. Flame covers a large area evenly, adjustment knobs are smooth and precise. Only problem is with one of the legs. The bottom has a casting sprue on it causing that leg to be too high and wobble the stove. Will take a coarse file or grinder to remove it, and all should be well.

Question:
What regulator / hose should I use to hook this up to a regular 20lb propane tank?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi EdH. Any of the low pressure propane hoses with regulator attached will work just fine. www.bbqguys.com/i/6585/hurricane-products/five-foot-propane-hose-and-low-pressure-regulator

Question:
Good morning, can the hose connection be on the left side of the cooker as you face it? Also is this high pressure or low pressure? Thank you

Answer:
Hello. Your gas hose can only be connected on the right, and it needs to have a low pressure regulator. Here's a hose and regulator recommended to use with this burner: www.bbqguys.com/hurricane-products/five-foot-propane-hose-and-low-pressure-regulator

Question:
Could you please list obvious plumbing connections to tie into outside natural gas line. Thanks Charles Hammond

Answer:
The fitting you will need to connect to the stove's manifold is a 3/8 female flare swivel. The other end of your connection will have to be what ever the fitting size is coming out of your house. If using a natural gas line, make sure that your stove is set for natural gas. The way you can tell, is on the manifold there is a sticker that is yellow which stands for natural gas and if the sticker is silver, the stove is set for propane.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
