This Blaze Rotisserie Kit is specifically designed for the Blaze 40-inch gas grill. Adding a rotisserie kit allows you to roast whole chicken, pork loin, beef roasts and much more in the convenience of your BBQ grill. The 120V motor is enclosed in a stainless steel housing to withstand the outdoor elements. This kit includes the motor, the 3/8 inch diameter spit rod with handle, 2 forks and a counter balance. It can turn up to 15 pounds of food. Designed for use with 40-inch Blaze Premium LTE & Premium LTE+ grills. Not for use with Blaze Professional LUX grills.

Plenty of cooking room on a solid, quite spit.The Blaze Rotisserie Kit For 40-Inch 5-Burner Gas Grills (BLZ-5-ROTIS-SS) is a great addition to my grill. The spit is thick and stiff, so it's able to hold plenty of meat without bending. The motor makes no noise, is water-proof, and is rated for 15lbs (though I think it can probably rotate a heavier load). The prongs are plenty long, sharp, and clean up easily. The attachment kit mounts easily. The only issue was sliding the motor on/off the mount – it's very snug and takes a bit of wriggling back and forth. The counterweight is a nice addition too. I've picked up a brining pail and lid from my local kitchen supply store for brining chicken. Having to remove the cooking grates and flame tamers is a bit of a chore, and you'll need a drip pan to place under your rotating meat too. I can't want to cook a porchetta! | Was This Helpful? | |

Less then expectedMy wife got me this for Christmas. It seemed like it was a fairly heavy duty rotisserie, but in reality it is kind of on the weak side of things. After cooking a five pound chicken the rod developed a sag of about a half inch. The motor is rated to do 15 pounds, while i maybe wrong , it seemed to struggle a little. Not the best productI bought this for a 40 " grill. The metal rod came bent, but the motor was able to power through the warp. After a year, the motor shorted and electrified the grill lid. It was not the same quality as the Blaze Grill. | Was This Helpful? | |
Don't buy, there are manufacturing issuesThe rod is bent and it pushed its way out of the box during shipping causing it to damage the threads on the end. I'm on my 6th rod from Blaze and they can't figure out how to deliver straight ones or package it safely. I've had it come out of the box a couple times, however it's not what is causing the rods to get bent, its a safety issue. However, BBQ Guys continue to try and solve the issue and deserve credit for their hard work. If there's another Rotisserie kit that will fit your grill I would pass on this one. | Was This Helpful? |
