The Cru 32 G2 is our most versatile oven to date. We have improved on the original design, making a great oven even better by adding a heat deflector to the top of the dome, improving thermo efficiency. Redesigned the stand for increased durability. The net result is our best oven yet. Pizza is only the beginning with the Cru 32 G2. Push the fire back and cook on the stone or push the fire forward and cook right on the coals, insert our grill grid or your favorite piece of oven safe cookware. It is up to you and what you want to cook and not what your oven can handle. Do not limit your possibilities with your oven. Great oven that deserves more attentionI love this Cru 32. It's a great combination of small footprint and spacious cooking area. Most ovens at this price point are pizza makers without a lot of flexibility, but this little oven is more. I can fit a full-sized skillet (though a 10-inch works better), so I've fire roasted fish, wings, thighs and even beef bones for broth. Plus, of course, pizza. It reaches high temps very quickly and the half door does better than I expected at holding in the heat. And the two-piece design is great for cleaning and moving the oven. Overall, it's excellent. Makes Great Pizza - But Has a Few CaveatsI have used this almost daily for months this year. PROS: Gets VERY hot - around 1000F or more. I have made excellent pizza in this - impressed many CONS: The thermometer fried out from the immense heat this generates and became useless after a week The wood handles on the detachable doors burned off as well The detachable "chimney" never stayed put and despite my efforts to make it stay - it didn't so it just sat in the grass unused. | Was This Helpful? |
